Following their Christmas performance, Year 2 recalled the story and characters of the first Christmas. They read the story in Guided Reading and then discussed the part played by each character. The children used their knowledge and understanding to create a model of the stable where Jesus was born. The Year 2 children then worked with a partner to retell the story in their own words.
