Hacton Truimph in Rotary Quiz

February 02, 2012
On the 1st February the Hacton Quiz team (Lauren, Grace, Charlie and Sachin) competed in the schools Rotary Quiz held at Nelmes Primary School. It was here that the four nervous contestants (along with all of the others) waited to hear the results of this mind boggling quiz. What is the capital of Afghanistan? Where is the Angel Falls? Where is the Great Wall of China? These are just a few of the questions that were fired at the primary school pupils. Hacton triumphantly stormed to the lead just one point ahead of Nelmes. After a nail biting conclusion Hacton were triumphant and were through to the next round! Well done to all the the members in the Hacton Quiz team and good luck in the next round!

A report by Grace (Year 6).
