Hacton 2 - 1 Suttons

February 07, 2012
On Thursday 2nd February Hacton played Suttons at home. We won the toss and chose to play up hill so in the second half they got exhausted. In the first half William pulled off an amazing save which kept it at 0 - 0. Unfortunately he couldn’t save one shot which took the score to 1 - 0 to Suttons.

The second half began and we were in tip-top condition. Our solid back line kept out some amazing chances with the midfield defending and setting up chances. Shortly after our Captain (Aaron) scored a stunning goal; 1- 1! Without a doubt Hacton were going to win!! Seconds before the full time whistle, with the last kick of the game, Morgan swung in a great corner and the ball deflected off their defenders leg. Goal! 2 – 1 and full time.

The weather was bitterly cold but there were a good number of supporters. We rushed into school to get warm as soon as the match ended.

A report by Hacton football team players Aaron and Charlie (6JF).
