The children in Year 1 were treated to a visit from a real life superhero - firefighter Josh!
They learnt about what his job is and how he saves people under dangerous circumstances. He showed them all of his kit and they even got to try it on which was an added bonus!
The children then went on to learn about lots of other real life superheroes and drew and wrote about them, describing them using adjectives such as brave, kind, caring and thoughtful.
