This week, our school was buzzing with excitement as we transformed into a world of superheroes for our annual Literacy Week! From the moment the children arrived at school on Monday, it was clear that they were in for an extraordinary week with creativity and storytelling galore!
Throughout the week, our Hacton pupils immersed themselves in a range of exciting superhero themed activities. We had our very own authors and illustrators creating comic strip designs with daring rescues and imaginative plots, the designing of unique masks to really help them to step into their superhero roles and junk modelling to make superhero creations!
This week has been a true celebration of storytelling and exploring both fictional and real life superheroes. It has reminded us all that not all superheroes wear capes - heroes can be kind, helpful, brave and resilient in their everyday actions. Whether it is supporting a friend, trying your best or showing courage in learning, everyone has the power to be a superhero!
