Nursery: The Gingerbread Man

January 12, 2024

Our Nursery children arrived to a terrible mess on Monday! There was flour and cooking utensils scattered all over the floor, the oven door in the home corner was ajar and there was a trail of floury footprints leading to the garden!

After some speculation that the 'naughty elves' or even Mrs Holland may have made the mess, the children discovered a letter that had been written by the culprit himself...the fleeing gingerbread man!

Throughout the week, the children have taken part in many activities linked to 'The Gingerbread Man' story. These activities have included using their prediction skills in a science experiment, acting out the story and making delicious gingerbread men biscuits. Yum! You can't really blame the fox!
