Year 2: Forest School

December 02, 2021

This week saw 2MP enjoying activities at a cold and windy forest school, but it didn't stop any of the fun! The children continued to use palm drills to make medallions which they proudly wore at the end of the session. Lots of children built a den this week to shelter from the elements, waterproofing it with a tarpaulin! Tree climbing and the rope swing were again, great fun, with the children becoming more confident climbers as the weeks go on. It was great to see team building amongst the children in the different activities as well as managing their own risk and keeping themselves safe.

Two weeks until the campfire!
