Reception PE: Three Billy Goats Gruff

February 23, 2017
The children in Zebra class enjoyed a fantastic, fun PE lesson. The hall was set up with bridges and tables for the children to explore going over and under the apparatus. They re-enacted the story of 'Three Billy Goats Gruff', taking the turn of the troll and stopping the ‘goats’ from crossing the river. When it was the big billy goat's turn, they head butted the troll off the bench and into the river!

The children showed lots of skill as they moved in different ways across the apparatus including walking, slithering, crawling and climbing. To finish, they jumped safely into the river, bending their knees and landing firmly on their feet.
