Over £700 Raised for Sport Relief

March 16, 2016

The halls were alive with the sound of children running, jumping and cycling as the whole school took part in challenges to raise money for Sport Relief. Pedometers were issued to all pupils and their steps were measured as they participated in a range of energetic activities. The special fundraising day began with excited Reception and Nursery children having a wonderful time circuit training while staff whizzed up fruity drinks on the smoothie bike. Next, our Infant and Junior children attempted to achieve the highest number of steps, displaying great competitive spirit and having lots of fun on the way. Our older pupils also took to the static bike in a timed sprint before getting their chance to make their own refreshing drinks on the smoothie bike. While the fun was taking place, the staff were taking part in their own challenge - seeing who could take the most steps during the day. Well done to Mrs Batty who won with an incredible 12,000 steps! She assures us that 3SB always has step training on a Thursday afternoon!

Congratulations to our pupils for their amazing energy and sporting spirit which helped our school raise over £700 for Sport Relief. Thank you to parents and friends for your support and generous sponsorship.
