Year 4 were amazed and delighted by the fascinating exhibits and demonstrations at
the Science Museum in London. The day began with an exciting hands on hour in the Launch Pad where children experimented with sound, magnets, forces and much more; they were even able to listen to music through their teeth! Our pupils were also invited to watch a show where children were selected to sit on a chair made of nails. The children were astounded that this was possible.
In the afternoon, there was plenty of time to explore the rest of the museum’s galleries. The exhibits ranged from aeroplanes and space shuttles to displays that explained how the brain works when eating different foods. Year 4 had a brilliant day learning about many different aspects of science in the world around us.
