Year 3: Roman Day

February 07, 2023
On Friday, Year 3 had a very special visit from a Roman soldier named Tiberus. The day was full of fun activities, including: learning how to play Roman board games, becoming archaeologists to look at real artefacts to discover more about the past and even reenacting a battle between the Romans and the Barbarians.

The children thoroughly enjoyed getting into character in their spectacular outfits and using props to recreate key moments in history! What a brilliant way to finish off our History topic for this half term!
