Earlier in the term, our pupils experienced the incredible and unique sounds of ‘vocal voyager’, Randolph Matthews. Following a brilliant visit over two years ago, the excited children got to experience the looping and layering of beats and voice. Randolph inspired children from Year 1 to Year 6 with his phenomenal talent.
A superb whole school assembly began with Randolph entertaining our pupils with his unique vocal acrobatics and sense of humour. Throughout the day, Key Stage 1 and 2 participated in group workshops where they discovered the endless possibilities of their voices. Randolph delighted the children using sounds to great comic effect.
The superb vocals, energy and fun of the sessions left a lasting impression on our pupils: inspirational!
