Reception: Making Pancakes

February 13, 2018
As Pancake Day fell in half term, Reception decided to celebrate early! The children learnt about Shrove Tuesday during their topic afternoon then thought carefully about making their own pancakes. They worked together to follow a recipe and whisk the ingredients into a mixture before it was poured into a pan. After some great attempts at tossing their pancakes in the air, everyone was excited to put on their tasty toppings before tucking into their very own delicious feast.
