On Roman Day we marched loudly around the hardworking school. It was funny and really exciting. As we invaded 2CL there was no-one to be seen but when we went in further we saw 2CL Celts hiding under their desks in fear! The Celt man told us that Emily had the same colour hair as Celts and dressed her up as Boudicca. With some Roman soldiers we learnt Roman commands and how to make a tortoise with our shields.
We had a lovely banquet with pitta bread and grapes. To entertain the parent helpers we sung some Roman songs. We had an entertaining and fantastic day learning about the Celts and the Romans.
