Reception: Police Visit

March 17, 2023
Reception have been learning about people who help us in our community.

Yesterday, we were lucky enough to have a visit from PC Edwards. He told us about the vehicles which police officers use to get around and the equipment they use such as a baton and handcuffs. He even let us try on a hat and a police jacket! PC Edwards demonstrated how the handcuffs can be used to detain someone in a pretend scenario where he arrested the teachers!
What a perfect way to bring our topic to life!
