Year 2: Literacy

December 08, 2022

The children in Year 2 have been reading the book 'Winter Sleep' by Sean Taylor and Alex Morss. From the initial illustration on the front cover, the children were tasked with writing a poem about winter using the five senses. They could choose from an acrostic poem called 'Winter' or a non-rhyming poem entitled 'Winter Walk'.

Once the children had finished their poems, they were able to showcase their beautiful handwriting using a pen! Well done, Year 2! Keep up the excellent effort!
