Year 4: India Day

April 03, 2017
First we showed off our costumes at the start of India day, then we made delicious veggie samosas. Chloe said "I liked the samosas because they were yummy. We put curry power in them along with the mixed veggies and potatoes." (by Sophie and Arabella)

For our dessert Mrs Cornish made delicious barfi, it was made out of coconut, icing sugar and condensed milk. Caution: don't make it to runny. Fantastic Miss Wells taught us some interesting Bollywood dancing. The moves were: first one hand apple in the basket then two handed apple in the basket, chop and swish, tornado punch, twisting snake and lastly the turn and step. In talented Miss Claridge's class we made some detailed mehndi patterns. That was the end of our wonderful day!  (by Chloé and Chikosi)
