Year 3: A Great First Week in Key Stage 2

September 14, 2016
Our Year 3 pupils clearly enjoyed their first week in Key Stage 2. In Literacy, the children recapped punctuation, word types and were introduced to the increased expectations in writing. In Maths, they learnt about about place value and were able to represent hundreds, tens and units (HTU) using pictures. Science was a particular hit with Year 3 who learnt about forces and watched some fascinating videos about g-force and gravity. We were very impressed with the children's enthusiastic start to life in Key Stage 2: we're sure it's going to be a fantastic year.
