To reward our 2025-2026 Language Ambassadors for all their hard work teaching and supporting Year 3 with their French learning during the first half term, Miss Vlasic and Miss Kayler arranged a special visit to Le Moulin in Hornchurch where the children had the opportunity to practise their French language skills. They were able to greet the owner and staff, introduce themselves, order a croissant and hot chocolate (remembering to use their s'il te plaît et merci!) and even asked for and paid for the bill!
This was the first time our Year 5's have had the opportunity to use their French skills in a real life, purposeful environment. Our Year 6's were much more confident this time having visited previously - well done as Helena (the owner) was impressed!
